Cubs Losing Eight Straight

The past eight games for the Chicago Cubs have not been very good at all.  They usually have lost by just 2 or three but the last two they lose by 5 or more points.  Hopefully the draft helps them gain some good players.

Cubs First Round Pick

 Javier Baez

The Chicago Cubs saw enough potential in this 18 year old kid to bring him straight to the major leagues.  They picked Javier over any college star that could have been picked in the first round.  Baez plays shortstop and is from Jacksonville Florida.  He hit 22 homeruns and only struck out 3 times during his Senior year.

Bulls Get sweeped

During the 5 games they played both teams fought hard and strong.  Even though the Heat were up 3-1 heading into the 5th game the bulls never gave up and kept going to the basket.  Chicago was down by 3 with about 5 seconds left when the ball went to Rose he tried to create a shot but was double teamed by Lebron James and Chris Bosh.  4-1 was the end story as the Heat move onto the finals.

Bulls Take 60th Win

Derrick Rose led the bulls into Orlando Florida going for their 60th win of the season. Derrick Rose is the leader of the team and shot 13-17 shots from the field. Carlos Boozer turned the ball over 3 times in a row which gave Orlando the lead, but as D. Rose has done many times before he rallied the team to come out and win. Rose had 39 points in this game. This is the sixth time in Bulls history that they have won sixty games and every single time they have they went on to win the Championship!
